In 2016, Lautrec forged a relationship with Oxfam to work on projects that are important to us as an Organisation and in line with our vision which is to ‘apply our knowledge and skills to create a better, fairer and more sustainable planet, both individually and collectively’.

Taps Off Day - 22 March 2017

Living in New Zealand, you may take it for granted the access we have to fresh water.  Taps Off Day reminds us that not everyone is as fortunate as us and stresses the importance of freshwater and advocating for the sustainable management of freshwater resources.  

Oxfam’s Vanuatu WASH Project

The Directors went to Vanuatu to meet with key members of the programme to find out more about what they do and ways in which we can offer support to enable them to become self-sustaining.  We are excited to see how this relationship develops and what we can learn from each other.

Oxfam Water Challenge

The Oxfam Water Challenge raises money for potable projects in Melanesia.  2016 was our first year competing in the challenge (see pic above) and we are pleased by our efforts which included kayaking the Avon to raise money for Oxfam!
